"Hello, My Name Is"

Howdy, my name is Kylie, I'm a junior Elementary Ed major from Cypress, TX but more importantly I'm the loudest and proudest member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2015!

That's probably by far the most used introduction here at A&M, but how else have I introduced myself over the last several years?

My name is Kylie, and I'm the President of the Texas A&M Women's Water Polo Team.

My name is Kylie, and I'm Wendy & Kevin's daughter.

My name is Kylie, I'm Kole's big sister.

My name is Kylie, and I'm on the summer leadership team at Cho-Yeh.

My name is Kylie, I'm Rachel and Maddie's roommate.

How else do we introduce ourselves? Generally introductions include something about who we are, what we are involved in, or to whom we are related.

One of my favorite songs right now is "Hello, My Name Is" by Matthew West. Check out the chorus "Hello, my name is child of the one true King
I’ve been saved, I’ve been changed, I have been set free
"Amazing Grace" is the song I sing
Hello, my name is child of the one true King"

Being a child of God is more important than any other way we introduce ourselves. Yes, my family, my job, my responsibilities and my relationships are a huge part of who I am. But they do not define me. My Father defines me, and I'm so thankful to be a child of the one true King.

WHOOP! Love it. Picked up on your short post. Keep up the good work. The Kingdom of God is His living and breathing Word in our hearts. I allowed God to direct my path through college and graduate school and he has blessed me and placed me in a place to do his good work. Gig 'em!
