Dear Chlorine

I wrote this last night as I was laying in bed but couldn't get it to send and was too tired to get out of bed to publish it on the computer... but here we go!

Dear Chlorine,
You were way too present at polo practice tonight. It has been 5 hours since practice has ended and my eyes are STILL burning. My roommate asked if I was either high or had been crying because my eyes are so red. That's slightly ridiculous! My tshirt that I had to wear IN the pool during practice supposedly reeks of chlorine, but thankfully over the years I have become immune to your smell. My skin in super itchy too because of you being super intense tonight! Chlorine, you are a good element/chemical and I am very appreciative of you always keeping us safe and clean and healthy, but PLEASE go back down to a normal level sometime soon!
