What Difference a Year Will Make

Last year my cousin Jessi got married, and today (well technically yesterday bc it's past midnight here, but whatevers) my oter cousin Erich got married. Thinking back to Jess's wedding in comparison to the wedding this summer I realize what a difference a year can make.

A year ago, I danced twice. Once with Jessi, and once with my daddy and uncle.

Today, I danced quite a bit. I danced with Sydney, Alex, Cassie, Katie, and Jenna (the girl cousin-in-laws). I danced with Kyle (the CRAZY twelve year old guy cousin in law). I danced with Uncle Steve, who really isn't my uncle and who I've only met twice. I had a lot of fun too, which is very surprising for me and dancing.

I realized just how much I have changed over the past year, just how much more of me I have become. Through polo and swimming captains, youth group, team yes, wortham, RFL, the loss of Clay. So much good and so much bad has happened since last summer. And through it all, I realize, just how each and every day, situation, occurance, and happening, plays an impact in who you really are.

Potluck is tomorrow which should be loads of fun. Then I'll have to say goodbye to Stephie and Erich. Considering the next time we see each other might be MY wedding, it's gonna be rough.
