Barnes and Noble Experience..

So this week I've realized how close all of my AP tests are.. only 5-6 weeks away. Yikes! So I've begun studying for those, and am finding that those Princeton AP Review Books are l-i-f-e-s-a-v-e-r-s!

Well today, I came to another realization. My SAT is May 1st. That's just a little over a month away. Uh-oh. Mina Zirlott told me about an awesome study-packet, the SparkNotes SAT Power Pack that includes workbooks, flashcards, and is a really useful tool. (And we are so familiar with SparkNotes anyway because of English the past few years, that I have grown used to the fact that they can dumb anything down to where it's easy for us to comprehend. So, I took a break from physics (which has seemed to become my after-school life.. but that's another story), and headed off to Barnes and Noble to get one of these Power Packs.

I'm skipping the horrendous traffic, the yucky rain, the idiotic drivers, and the creepy people who were sulking around Barnes and Noble to the check-out point.

Check-Out Lady: "With your Barnes and Noble Membership, that brings your total to $19.43"
I hand her a $20 bill.
Check-Out Lady: "Ummm, how much change do I owe you now?"
I think to myself 'seriously?' but politely respond "53 cents"
Check-Out Lady: "Well, I think you are going to do extremely well on your SAT!"

If only 20-19.43 was on the SAT...
